Crest Finds a Place Among Local Businesses

The Hutt Valley Business Expo was a great time for Clare Menzies to catch up with local business owners and community members, such as Anna Geremia-Young, Membership Manager of Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce.

From large international corporations like ANZ and Canon, to local shops such as Cupcake Sweeties and Heavenly Herbs, the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Expo was a real mix of New Zealand commerce, says Clare Menzies, who is CrestClean’s Regional Director for Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.

Held on the 23rd of September at the Petone Club, it’s one of the largest business events of the year for the Hutt Valley and draws hundreds of attendees.

“It was great to get out networking with other businesses in my area,” says Clare. “There are about 65 booths so you get to meet many of the new businesses that have moved into the Hutt, as well as ones coming over from Wellington.”

A member of the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce, this is just one of many events Clare attends throughout the year and she initially came to it as an interested community business owner, however she sees a lot of potential for CrestClean to be involved in future expos.

“It’s an ideal situation for Crest to be part of this event next year as it will help promote us to other local businesses,” says Clare.
