Number of personnel trained increases by 43 per cent
An increase in the number of personnel trained through the Master Cleaners Training Institute reflects the demand for training and shows it is being met, CEO Adam Hodge says.
The number of personnel trained in 2015 increased by 43 per cent over the four main training programmes compared to 2014. The total number of participants trained in 2015 from January to November was 1,124 – an increase of 30 per cent over the same period in 2014.
The number of personnel who completed their Module 1 training increased by 100 per cent, Module 2 increased by 27 per cent, upskilling training and Hard Floor Care training increased by 10 per cent.
“It shows that we are meeting the demand,” he says.
The Certificate in Commercial Cleaning, which has been launched this year by master Cleaners, has already seen 159 personnel complete Module 1 and 87 have successfully completed the assessment component. The qualification is designed to meet international industry requirements.
“These numbers will ramp up as the year goes on,” Adam says. “Training is all about giving personnel and their employees the skills to deliver the quality that is demanded by our customers in a very competitive marketplace. We will continue to adapt our training methods and content to meet the increased demand for the future,” he says.
