Teamwork works wonders when you’re a CrestClean franchisee.

There’s plenty of camaraderie while working on a large job as these Wellington franchisees found while cleaning as part of a large contract where their dedication to the job has not gone unrecognised.

Mike Ritchie, Chief Financial Officer at Scots College in Wellington, said the work of CrestClean personnel is much appreciated.

“It was no small decision to bring CrestClean on to clean our school, but it is great to have you on board.

“Whilst you aren’t official staff of the college, you are staff. You are very much appreciated and are a very important part of our college.”

Scots College is an independent Presbyterian boys’ Years 1 to 13 school located in the suburb of Strathmore. It’s an important customer for CrestClean, says Philip Wilson, CrestClean’s Wellington Regional Quality Assurance Co-ordinator.

“We began cleaning this college mid-2015. At that time we were responsible for cleaning 20 percent of the college. We are now cleaning 80 percent of the college.

“On a daily basis we have five teams cleaning the college with upwards of 15 cleaners working there each evening.”

Richard Brodie, CrestClean’s Wellington Regional Manager, said: “The college being home to boarders means our teams need to work around the college being heavily used by them and other groups in the evening.

“Communication with the college is paramount. We see our relationship with the college as a real partnership with us working together to get the job done.”

CrestClean franchisee Alpeshkumar Patel said it was a real team effort working at Scots College: “We really enjoy cleaning this college. It’s not like any other school that we clean as there is always something going on whenever we are here.

“We need to be able to problem solve as we clean and we are excited to bring our high standards of cleaning to the college to effect change.”
