The Module 1 course equips franchisees with the skill set needed to be successful.

Teamwork shone bright as these enthusiastic Auckland franchisees rose to the challenge during a skills development session.

The Module 1 course is run through the Master Cleaners Training Institute in conjunction with CrestClean. The training course aims to raise industry standards by equipping personnel with skills, knowledge and industry-specific qualifications.

Master Cleaners Training Institute CEO Adam Hodge, who ran the event, said he was very impressed with the professionalism and commitment of the trainees.

“The trainees took an active part in the training resulting in them getting a lot more from the course.

“The teamwork that the trainees naturally demonstrated in helping each other with equipment etc made the course a pleasure to run.”

CrestClean has developed a “Safe System of Work” for each task our personnel are required to carry out. Each system outlines step-by-step processes for consistently completing each cleaning activity to the highest standard.

The Module 1 course includes Health and Safety, chemical preparation, safe use and safe storage of equipment. Practical task training included mopping, vacuuming, window and wall washing, damp wiping and polishing. Communications and security were also covered.
Adam said franchisees were given a thorough understanding of the cleaning standards required.

“The course went very well. I was very impressed with the professionalism and commitment of the trainees.”

Neil Kumar, CrestClean’s North Harbour Regional Manager, said training was key to the success of running a successful business.

“Training gives our new franchisees a boost in confidence. They know what they are doing and they understand what is expected of them from their clients.”
