CrestClean’s Fiva Latu has an eye for detail.
The Hawke’s Bay franchisee is at the sharp end of CrestClean’s operation throughout the Napier region.
Married to Hawke’s Bay Regional Manager Abby Latu, one of Fiva’s roles in the business is to look after auditing. And after seven years with CrestClean he knows the importance of maintaining a quality service and keeping customers happy.
Business is booming in Hawke’s Bay and CrestClean has 17 teams as the demand for commercial cleaning continues to grow.
Fiva’s role in management is to audit franchisee’s vehicles and equipment, ensuring everything is compliant, meets Health and Safety standards and is clean and tidy.
He also audits customers’ sites to collect feedback for Abby and her teams.
“The clients seem to really enjoy getting a visit. Most of the results are really positive and if I do find anything then it’s a great way to get feedback to the team to get it sorted out at the next clean,” said Fiva.
“As I am experienced in hard floors I can also see if their vinyl needs any attention, like a full strip and seal or some regular buffing to get some shine back in it.”
Abby says, Fiva will soon be travelling to Auckland to upskill as a carpet specialist.
“We will be investing in a large commercial cleaning machine,” she added. “This will add value to our existing clients and open the door to new opportunities to continue to grow our business.”
Abby said her husband was worth his weight in gold.
“Fiva is hard working, easy going and very happy in nature. He’s a great ambassador for our business.”
