Cresties in their best for charity event
You could almost hear the lyrics of Abba’s famous Dancing Queen hit single resonating around the costume hire shop when CrestClean’s Caroline Wedding excitedly made her selection.
Caroline, the company’s Auckland West Regional Manager, led an all-female CrestClean team to a charity fundraiser.
But before attending the event, the trio were tasked with finding something memorable to wear. And it didn’t take them long. Caroline’s choice of an Abba outfit was an immediate done deal.
“We had five minutes to decide on what to wear. The Dancing Queen costume was the right size. It was white, big and floaty and it just reminded me of Christmas,” she says.
“I kind of like dancing around to Abba, so it was a perfect choice for me,” she says.
Caroline was joined by colleagues Rachel Fan and Megan Miles, who provide admin and customer support for Crest.
The dress up event was an end of year party for Breakout Wednesday – a networking group for likeminded business women in the Avondale area.
Rachel’s choice was a sweet treat – a cupcake dress from fearless fashionista Katy Perry. Meanwhile, Megan looked marvellous in her choice of a mermaid outfit.
“The event was a lot of fun,” says Caroline. We had party games and storytelling. Some of the ladies are great storytellers and they had everyone in stitches.”
The evening raised money for Just Because – A charitable trust that provides pamper packs to women experiencing challenging times.
“It’s a charity of choice for our group and it’s a very worthwhile organisation,” added Caroline.
