Praise from college for diligence of cleaning team for sanitising work

Irene Symes, Rodney College Principal, thanks Francis and Teneaki Nawaia for their work.

Grateful staff at Rodney College have thanked the CrestClean team who carried out extra sanitising and cleaning during the COVID-19 Alert Level 2.

Pauline Bond, Executive Officer, says everyone was impressed at how Francis and Teneaki Nawaia had gone about their work – and their presence was reassuring.

“They picked up the ball and absolutely ran with it in terms of what was needed,” she says.

The husband and wife team arrived each day to thoroughly clean and sanitise surfaces that people touch often. They used CrestClean’s Anti-Viral Sanitiser, a powerful disinfectant qualified for use against SARS-CoV-2, a coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

“We had them coming in on a daily basis in the middle of the day sanitising all the surfaces and touch points. It was quite reassuring,” says Pauline.

“You just forget about the number of door handles you open on a daily basis when you work in an admin block. It put our minds at rest and it was a great option that CrestClean offered us to have this extra service.”

Francis says the work gave them a sense of a job well done and it was rewarding to get good feedback.

“We felt proud to do the sanitising at the same time we were helping to keep the staff and students safe. We were going around the offices and bathrooms ensuring everything was clean and sanitised.”

Neil Kumar, CrestClean’s North Harbour Regional Manager, says Francis and Teneaki did an outstanding job.

“They are very hard working but always have a friendly smile and are popular with their customers. We were very pleased to have been able to help Rodney College. It brings a lot of reassurance for customers who request this service.

“Many people want to protect their workplace against the flu and other viruses so they request CrestClean’s Sanitising Service.”
