It was a case of educating the educators when CrestClean hosted a stand at the 31st Annual New Zealand School Trustees Association (NZSTA) conference in Rotorua.

Attended by school principals and board of trustee members from throughout the country, there was a lot of interest in CrestClean’s services and products, in particular the Anti-Viral Sanitiser, says Tauranga Regional Manager Jan Lichtwark.

“There were a lot of questions about our Anti-Viral Sanitiser spray — people were interested in finding out what it does and how it works.  We educated a few people about the difference between cleaning, disinfecting and sanitising!” says Jan.

“Since the pandemic people’s attitudes towards cleaning have changed across the board. They want to know what’s in products and how they work.”

Hundreds of samples of the spray, along with hand sanitiser, microfibre cloths and brochures were handed out to interested attendees.

RecycleKiwi resource packs, including waste bin recycling stickers, posters and colouring-in pages were also distributed during the three-day conference at the Energy Events Centre.

The CrestClean stand was manned by Jan, together with Waikato Regional Manager Nivitesh Kumar and Tauranga Quality Assurance Co-ordinator Woo-Sung Lee.

“We ran out of samples on the first day and had to restock — it was great to see so much interest,” says Jan.

“With board members as well as principals attending, we got to interact with a broad spectrum of people. We had some interesting and productive conversations.”

A number of CrestClean customers also stopped by the stand to give positive feedback.

“They were telling us what a wonderful job we do and how nice our franchisees are. We really appreciate them making the effort and enjoyed catching up with them.”
