Personalised Christmas gifts treasured by North Harbour franchisees
Sometimes you get given a gift that’s just too precious to use.
That’s how CrestClean franchisees Fazia Ali and Rizwan Khan feel about these beautiful wooden coasters gifted to them by Upper Harbour Primary School.
The thoughtful Christmas gifts were presented to them by the school principal at the end of term, in appreciation of all their hard work during the year.
Made out of a recycled kauri school door, the keepsakes are inscribed with Fazia and Rizwan’s names and the message: “Thank you so much for looking after Upper Harbour Primary School so well. Tēnā rawa atu koe.”
“The principal came in and handed them to us personally. I was really surprised at how much trouble they had gone to, they are really nice,” says Fazia.
“I told my husband not to use them, I’ll be keeping them in the display cabinet!”
The couple also received chocolates and handmade cards from teachers and children at the school, which they have cleaned since starting their CrestClean business two years ago.
In return they gifted the principal a bottle of wine.
“We really enjoy working at the school, everyone is so nice,” says Fazia.
