Biking keeps Ranjodh ‘fit for work’

Cleaning is a workout in itself, but when Rotorua franchisee Ranjodh Singh wants to go the extra mile, he gets on his bike.

“Working in the cleaning industry, you are using the same muscles each night. Sometimes the body gets stiff and it needs something to bounce back again. Biking really helps my back a lot because I am using different muscles and when I go back to work on Monday I feel fit and healthy,” says Ranjodh.

“I have the mornings free to go biking. I go with my friends, normally in The Redwoods, where there are lots of great trails. I also enjoy biking with my family. We take our bikes on holiday and go for rides at the weekend. It’s a lot of fun.”

Ranjodh and his wife Dimple moved to Rotorua in 2013 to start a franchise and have “never looked back”.

“We left our jobs in Whakatane and packed everything in a truck. It’s been a really good nine years. We’ve doubled the business, and we’ve got kids now. We’re very happy.”
