CrestClean teams named as finalists in Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards
CrestClean is excited to have two franchise teams named as finalists in this year’s prestigious Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards.
Viky and Nileshna Narayan have been shortlisted for ‘Regional Master Franchisee of the Year’, while Royce and Hannah Park are in the running for ‘Franchisee of the Year – Business to Business’.
The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony at the Cordis Hotel in Auckland, on November 11.
The Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards were first presented in 1995 and are designed to identify and celebrate outstanding franchise systems, master franchisees, franchisees and specialist service providers. Last year, there were 17 awards presented across various categories, with Supreme Awards for the Franchise System and Franchisee of the Year.
CrestClean was proud to win the Supreme Award for Franchise System of the Year in 2021, coinciding with the company’s 25th anniversary year — with judges praising CrestClean for its franchise system, teamwork and high satisfaction rates amongst personnel.
The finalists
Viky and Nileshna are Regional Master Franchisees for Auckland South, having joined CrestClean in 2005.
They oversee operations for 62 franchise teams, amounting to 175 personnel, who provide services to 360 customers.
They have enjoyed previous success at the awards, having won Regional Master Franchisee of the Year in 2019, and Master Franchisee of the Year in 2015.
Royce and Hannah are newcomers to the awards, having joined CrestClean in 2018, since which time they have grown their franchise sixfold to become the largest in Hawke’s Bay. They now employ eight staff, and in 2022 achieved the goal of buying their first home.
As active members of the local Korean Church, they have integrated community values into their business, by opening a Korean language school. During times of crisis, like Cyclone Gabrielle and the Covid pandemic, they were part of the regional Korean leadership hub, offering support to both the Korean community and the wider Hawke’s Bay community.
CrestClean Managing Director Grant McLauchlan congratulated Viky, Nileshna, Royce and Hannah on their nominations.
