Ashburton students reap rewards for tidy classrooms

South Canterbury franchise owner Bernard Rivera rewards Room Flemington students at Longbeach School for keeping their classroom tidy.

Students in Ashburton are proving that a clean classroom is a happy classroom! CrestClean franchise owners Michael Rigor and Bernard Rivera rewarded students with a delicious pizza lunch for going the extra mile to keep their learning spaces tidy and organised throughout term one.

A special mention to Room Flemington at Longbeach School, who have won the cleanest classroom prize for the third time! Bernard Rivera, the franchise owner who cleans their classroom, appreciates their efforts as it allows him more time to focus on critical hygiene areas.

South Canterbury Master Franchisee Rob Glenie is happy to see Room Flemington consistently taking pride in their learning environment.

“Bernard feels very spoilt when he walks into Room Flemington as they always leave the room tidy and ready to clean, with chairs stacked and rubbish picked up off the floor,” says Rob.

Room Kiwi 5 at St Joseph School also took out the top prize for the school’s cleanest classroom. South Canterbury franchise owner, Michael Rigor, delivered pizzas at the end of the school term to celebrate the students’ achievement.

The ‘Cleanest Classroom’ initiative, which is run at schools cleaned by CrestClean, is a fun way to encourage students to take responsibility for their classroom. It’s not just about spotless desks – a clean classroom can foster better focus, improve overall learning, and create a more enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

Congratulations Ashburton students for a tidy term one!
