Meet Adrian Cashmore, our new Regional Master Franchisee for Wellington
Please extend a warm welcome to Adrian and Kylie Cashmore, Wellington’s new Regional Master Franchisees.
Adrian will be a familiar face to many, having played rugby for the Auckland Blues, Chiefs and All Blacks. His rugby days might be over, but Adrian’s time with CrestClean is only just kicking off.
After 13 years in Dunedin, Adrian and Kylie are excited to move to Wellington and embark on a new chapter in their lives.
“It’s another challenge. We’ve lived in Japan, Wales and Dunedin so we’re kind of used to moving,” says Adrian.
Since hanging up his rugby boots, Adrian’s had a diverse career in real estate and as the owner of a meat production company. It was a conversation with close friends and Dunedin Regional Master Franchisees Tony and Nicky Kramers that piqued Adrian’s interest in joining CrestClean.
“Next thing you know, I’m sitting in an office in Wellington,” says Adrian.
With support from outgoing Master Franchisee, Zainab Ali, Adrian is finding his feet in his new role. He also spent some time with Tony and Nicky in Dunedin to learn about the company and understand the responsibilities of a Regional Master Franchisee.
“Zainab’s been amazing. I’m looking forward to taking over a business that’s been run really well,” he says.
In his spare time, you’ll find Adrian staying active, mountain biking and free diving. Luckily the area has many great bike tracks and beautiful bays to keep him busy.
“There are plenty of spots here where we can walk straight off the shore and jump into the water,” says Adrian.
“I’m looking forward to exploring those once I get a handle on the business.”
With plenty of experience running a business and leading a team, Adrian is excited to put his skills to good use in his new role.
“I’ve always been a people person, so I’m looking forward to getting out and meeting customers and understanding their needs,” he says.
“We’re really excited about the move to Wellington and being involved in a great company.”
