CrestClean sponsors successful Sri Lankan charity music event
CrestClean Christchurch recently extended its support to the local Sri Lankan community by sponsoring Āarādhanā Gee Dahaana, a charity music event. The event, held on May 4th at the Lincoln Event Centre, was a sell-out success with over 400 attendees.
Several of CrestClean’s franchise owners from the wonderful Sri Lankan community attended the event, including Nalin and Nadeesha Dissanayake, Ruwan Hewawasam, Chandima De Mel, Raveendra Suriyaarachchi, and Krissanthi Wanasinghe.
The night was a celebration of community and culture, showcasing local talent in a professional musical performance. Attendees also shared a delicious, traditional Sri Lankan dinner.
Āarādhanā Gee Dahaana provided an opportunity for the Sri Lankan community in Christchurch to come together, have fun and enjoy a taste of home. Proceeds from the event went towards supporting the valuable work of the Samadhi Buddhist Trust that helps to fund the Sri Lankan Language and Cultural School.
The event not only served as a celebration of Sri Lankan culture but also provided an opportunity for CrestClean franchisees to connect outside of work.
Sri Lankan born Christchurch Regional Master Franchisee, Yasa Panagoda, was happy to see franchise owners enjoying the experience together.
“It was a great event and good to see franchisees getting together to enjoy the night as team,” says Yasa.
CrestClean’s sponsorship of Āarādhanā Gee Dahaana fosters cultural understanding and reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
