CrestClean Hawke’s Bay celebrates success and strength at annual Regional Team Meeting
CrestClean’s Hawke’s Bay franchise owners recently gathered at the Napier Conference Centre for their annual Regional Team Meeting where attendees shared knowledge and celebrated many individual achievements.
Hawke’s Bay Regional Master Franchisee, Tim O’Leary, was impressed by the strong turnout. For Tim, the highlight was the interaction between franchise teams that showed their willingness to collaborate. This is something Tim works hard to achieve within his region.
“There was plenty of time for franchise teams to talk, which was really good to see. Engagement between teams is something I’ve tried to foster,” says Tim.
“We’re all in the same boat. So, rather than paddle our own boats, why not paddle together?”
Managing Director, Grant McLauchlan, delivered the event’s main presentation. Franchisees actively engaged with Grant throughout his presentation and left motivated to pursue growth despite current economic challenges.
The meeting also served as a platform to celebrate milestones achieved by several franchisees. Tim and Grant presented awards to recognise the dedication and outstanding contributions of these long-term business owners.
Jay and Urmilla Gounder celebrated 15 years as CrestClean franchisees, leaving their mark as a dedicated team that prioritises exceptional customer service.
“They’re one of our steadiest teams. The relationship I see between Jay and his long-term customers at Hastings Christian School is something I use as a benchmark,” says Tim.
“The way Jay works with the school is lovely to sit back and watch from the outside. He knows them, he understands them, and he cares about them. Nothing is too much trouble.”
Neha Chaudhary and Vinesh Kumar were acknowledged for their Five Year Long Service as CrestClean franchise owners. Tim has been impressed by the couple’s hard work and commitment to creating a strong family business.
“They’re a bit like Karl Malone, the Mailman – they always deliver. They’re so good. They’ve been steadily growing their team with family members from India. Their family all treat the business like their own and it’s really heartwarming to see,” says Tim.
Mayank Malik has now been a CrestClean franchise owner for three years. In this time, he has proved to be a strong business owner with ambitious goals to grow his business.
“He’s grown and developed really well. He’s strong with customer relationships and he’s just become one of our Induction Trainers, so he’s taken on some great new roles,” says Tim.
Reggie, Geeta and Gracy Singh also celebrated three years as CrestClean franchise owners. Reggie has grasped every opportunity to upskill, becoming not only a successful business owner but also a valuable CrestClean trainer.
“They’re a very strong family unit. Reggie now travels the country to help with Induction Training and Module One Training.
He’s recently become a Hard Floor Trainer too. I’m really happy to have him as part of the team,” says Tim.
After the presentation, attendees shared a delicious lunch which Tim described as “the best one yet.”
The Hawke’s Bay Regional Team Meeting was a day of collaboration and celebration and franchise owners left well-equipped to tackle the year ahead.
