The couple’s journey to business ownership came out of challenging circumstances. Geralyn worked night shifts as a mushroom harvester at Meadow Mushrooms, but work was inconsistent, and she often worried about her next paycheck. This led Rodolfo to seek a more stable financial path for his family.
“We needed to find a more settled job as we had small kids at the time,” says Geralyn.

The couple values the financial stability and flexibility that comes with owning a franchise. Geralyn enjoys spending mornings with her children and dog before starting work in the afternoon. This newfound freedom is a stark contrast to her previous unpredictable work hours.
“It’s been a big difference because we can manage our own time,” says Geralyn.
“I can also attend any kind of meeting for my children and pick them up early if I need to.”
