Finding Light in the Shadows

Jamie Ford, Director of Resilient Minds and author of The Short Road to Mental Strength, is dedicated to helping individuals build mental toughness and resilience. As a skilled keynote speaker, Jamie’s insightful presentations have empowered many at CrestClean to overcome negative thinking and thrive in challenging situations.

We value our friendship with Jamie and the role he has played in supporting the well-being of all of us here at CrestClean. He is also the brains behind our Bouncebackability website, which promotes mental wellness and offers a Well-being Directory for those seeking professional support.

Jamie has dedicated his life to helping others, and now it’s our turn to help him

Jamie’s daughter Linda is profoundly disabled and requires 24-hour care. Her standing frame was destroyed in the Cyclone Gabrielle floods and the replacement cost is estimated at $16,000. No government funding is available.

Linda’s standing frame is essential to her mental and physical well-being. Without it, her quality of life is significantly affected.

We’d love our entire CrestClean team to really get behind this fundraiser and collectively share the joy in seeing Linda receive her new standing frame.

It’s well known that helping others can lift our own happiness and reward us with a sense of well-being.

Any contribution can make a difference.

The Short Road to Mental Strength

Jamie’s new book, The Short Road to Mental Strength, will be available to purchase soon. This book is packed with engaging anecdotes and practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges.

When we’re ruled by fear, self-doubt, or negativity, our energy becomes stagnant, hindering our ability to thrive.

“As you progress through the book, you will uncover the latent strength you have within, enabling you to face challenges head-on and emerge stronger on the other side.” John O’Sullivan, Managing Director of Tumu Group

This is where the work of resilience and mindset comes in. We can learn to recognise the voices in our heads that drain us and gently challenge their power. We can create healthy boundaries, nurture a sense of belonging, and find balance in all areas of life.

Remember, you are not your thoughts. You have the power to choose resilience, to cultivate a mindset that supports your well-being, and to unlock the vast energy that resides within you.

Jamie is generously offering free shipping on all pre-orders. Don’t wait for the book’s release – secure your copy today by emailing Jamie directly at jamie@resilientminds.co.nz
