South Canterbury schools clean up in term one
South Canterbury students were hard at work keeping their classrooms sparkling clean throughout term one, all hoping to earn the coveted title of Cleanest Classroom.
Students from Dunsandel School, Beaconsfield School, St Joseph’s School, and Longbeach School were surprised with special treats from their cleaning teams as a way of thanking them for keeping their learning spaces clean throughout the term.
The Cleanest Classroom competition runs every term, rewarding the tidiest classrooms with a pizza lunch. It’s a great way to encourage students to take pride in their environment and makes a big difference for the cleaning teams, who have more time to focus on critical hygiene tasks.
Even better, it’s a great chance for students to get to know the friendly faces behind the clean classrooms they walk into each day.
A big congratulations to everyone who took part. We can’t wait to see who will come out on top in term two!
