Amit and Romita celebrate 10 years of family time and business success
Five years ago, Auckland West franchise owners Amit Singh and Romita Rana Roy had just welcomed a newborn baby and purchased their first home. Today, they’re proudly celebrating 10 years as CrestClean franchise owners, with a five-year-old and a ten-year-old now keeping them busy.
It’s safe to say the past decade has been filled with major milestones, both personal and professional. Their children are growing up, their business is thriving, and they recently upgraded to a larger home.
Before joining CrestClean, Amit worked as a welder while Romita was a full-time mum. Looking for a way to earn a healthy income without compromising on family time, the couple found CrestClean to be the perfect fit for their young family.
The decision to leave their previous jobs and pour their energy into their franchise turned out to be a game changer. Within five years they had purchased their first home.
“We’re working full-time but we still have lots of family time,” says Romita.
Amit and Romita clean a range of sites including schools and offices and have structured their schedule to keep their business manageable. By handling all the work themselves, they maintain a routine that works well for their lifestyle and fits in around their children.
There’s also the added benefit of being their own boss – something they both enjoy.
“We are the boss of each other,” laughs Romita.
Over the years, they’ve achieved a number of proud milestones. Owning their own home is just one of many.
“We are proud to have been able to buy houses because we earn more with CrestClean,” she says.
“Our life is good.”
They also credit their Regional Manager, Caro Wedding, for providing ongoing support whenever they’ve needed it.
As they celebrate 10 years in business, Amit and Romita look ahead with confidence knowing they’ve built a strong future for their family.
