CrestClean joins catholic principals at NZCPPA Conference

Every three years, Catholic primary and intermediate school principals from across New Zealand gather for a very special event – the New Zealand Catholic Primary Principals’ Association (NZCPPA) Conference.
This year’s event was held at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor in Wellington, where around 150 principals, along with guests, sponsors, and exhibitors, came together to reflect on the unique role of Catholic education in New Zealand.

With attendees from all six dioceses, from Kaitaia to Invercargill, the conference provided a valuable opportunity to share ideas and strengthen school leadership. The sessions focused on everything from community wellbeing to enhancing the special character that’s at the heart of every Catholic school.
Representing CrestClean at the event were Wellington Regional Managers Adrian and Kylie Cashmore, who enjoyed catching up with familiar faces and introducing CrestClean to principals from across the country. They also showcased the RecycleKiwi programme, sparking great conversations around sustainability in schools. To add a bit of fun, they ran a light-hearted competition for a gift hamper filled with goodies. The lucky winner was Marg Hyslop, Principal of St Anthony’s School in Pahiatua.
Adrian had the opportunity to speak at the conference, sharing that CrestClean recognises every educational space is unique, and all cleaning teams are highly trained to deliver expert results, no matter the site.
“Clean, well-kept spaces are not merely an option – they are essential for creating healthy institutions,” says Adrian.
He also underscored the pride that CrestClean franchise owners and their teams take in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and unwavering commitment to excellence.
“Our mission isn’t just to clean spaces – it’s to care for them, preserving their integrity and supporting the educators and learners who bring them to life.”
