10 years strong – Arti Kamoda marks major business milestone

Auckland Central franchisee Arti Kamoda is celebrating 10 years with CrestClean, and looking back, she couldn’t be prouder of how far she’s come.

When she first bought her franchise in 2015, Arti was working full time and wanted something flexible to bring in some extra income. With her cousin already in CrestClean, she knew it was a safe move, and it soon made a noticeable difference to her family’s financial situation.

It didn’t take long for things to grow. By 2018, Arti was able to leave her job and put all her energy into her business – a milestone she’s especially proud of. These days she runs the franchise with help from her two sons, who pitch in around their busy university studies in engineering and pharmacology.

CrestClean has been a steady support through some of Arti’s toughest times, including the heartbreaking loss of her husband. She’s especially thankful to Auckland Central Regional Manager Dries Mangnus, who stood by her when she needed it most.

“I want to thank Dries for being there when my family needed him. He really stands by his franchisees.”

Over the years, Arti’s business has grown and changed. At one stage she was running a large operation with high turnover, but she decided to step back slightly to allow her more time with her sons.

“Sometimes we have to weigh up all these things in life, especially with our kids,” she says.

That’s the beauty of owning a CrestClean franchise – Arti has been able to work her business around her family.

Arti’s expertise in cleaning is reflected in her loyal customer base. Two of her customers have been with her from the very beginning, proving just how much they value her reliable service. Her largest customer is a surgical centre, which relies on CrestClean’s specialised Healthcare training designed specifically for healthcare environments.

“You have to be top level,” she says. “No mistakes.”

Alongside her business success, Arti has also achieved a major personal milestone – buying her first home. With CrestClean’s support in providing a letter to the bank confirming her stable income, she was able to secure a home loan and now enjoys living close to her customer sites.

Ten years on, Arti is still going strong and proud of everything she has achieved. Through the ups and downs, CrestClean has been a steady support, and Arti continues to balance work, family, and the life she’s built as a business owner.
