CrestClean named finalists in five categories at 2025 Westpac NZ Franchise Awards
We’re proud to share that CrestClean has been named as a finalist in five categories at the 2025 Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards. This is the 30th anniversary of the Franchising Awards, making it even more significant to be recognised as a finalist.
These awards celebrate the very best in New Zealand franchising and acknowledge the people and teams who make it all happen.
CrestClean has been nominated for the following categories.
Franchise System of the Year – Business to Business
This award recognises a business that demonstrates excellence in its approach to developing, growing and running its franchise system.
CrestClean’s success is thanks to the dedication of our franchisees, Master Franchisees, Regional Managers, support team, and customers. We’re proud that everyone in the CrestClean network is committed to delivering excellence, with our whole team driving continuous improvement across the board. It is an honour to be recognised as Franchise System of the Year.
Marketing Campaign of the Year – CrestClean Healthcare
This award recognises a franchisor who can demonstrate it has applied robust marketing practices in a campaign promoting their business, product or service; and where the campaign has successfully engaged its market and delivered outstanding results.
CrestClean’s Healthcare campaign moved beyond promotional material to showcase actual outcomes, not just promises. In healthcare, cleanliness isn’t just about appearances – it’s about safety, compliance, and trust. That’s why we created CrestClean Healthcare as a specialised cleaning division. The CrestClean Healthcare campaign highlights our commitment to delivering tailored systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of our Healthcare customers.
Franchisee of the Year – Business to Business
This award recognises a franchisee business that demonstrates excellence in applying the franchise system and has a professional approach to running its business.
Congratulations to South Canterbury franchise owner Navjot Kaur, who has been named a finalist in this category! Navjot has grown her CrestClean franchise into one of the largest in the country. With a team of ten employees trained through the Master Cleaners Training Institute and strong customer relationships, she consistently delivers the highest-quality cleaning services.

Franchise System – Excellence in Community Contribution – RecycleKiwi®
This award recognises a franchisor whose business makes a demonstrable positive impact through its contribution to the community.
Our RecycleKiwi® programme has been recognised for the positive impact it continues to make in schools and businesses across New Zealand. The programme’s educational content and videos have reached thousands of students, helping to nurture a generation of environmentally responsible Kiwis.
The free RecycleKiwi® resources give back not only to our customers, but to the wider community. To date, over 9,000 RecycleKiwi® resource packs containing more than 230,000 individual waste separation stickers have been distributed to schools, businesses, and organisations nationwide.
Regional Master Franchisee of the Year – Tim O’Leary
This award recognises a Regional Master franchisee business that demonstrates excellence in its approach to growing and running its business.
Congratulations to Hawke’s Bay Regional Master Franchisee Tim O’Leary on his nomination for Regional Master Franchisee of the Year! Tim’s strong customer retention and exceptional engagement with franchisees have fuelled business growth and high franchisee satisfaction. His passion for his work and the people he works alongside shines through in the support he gives to teams across his region.
