CrestClean’s Rob Glenie named finalist at ANZ Business of the Year Awards

South Canterbury Regional Manager Rob Glenie has been named a finalist in Excellence in Customer Service.

South Canterbury Regional Manager Rob Glenie has been named a finalist for Excellence in Customer Service at the ANZ Business of the Year Awards for the Ashburton District.

The ANZ Business of the Year Awards give local businesses a well-deserved pat on the back for their creativity, passion, and positive impact. Rob’s nomination recognises the customer-first culture he has built at CrestClean Mid & South Canterbury.

Rob’s journey began more than a decade ago with just two customers. Today, under his leadership, the region services over 200 customers, including schools, businesses, healthcare providers, and local government.

To keep customer connections strong as the region grew, Rob developed “Beyond Cleaning” – a programme that trains franchisees in communication, problem-solving, and proactive customer care. This approach empowers teams to manage relationships independently, ensuring every customer receives friendly, personalised service.

Customers regularly comment on the professionalism and reliability of Mid & South Canterbury’s cleaning teams.

“They are extremely adaptable and brilliant at communicating with us if changes need to be made. It extends beyond the actual cleaning service – we have a great relationship with them, and they are part of the Ōpuke family.” – Ōpuke Thermal Pools and Spa, 2023

Being named a finalist for Excellence in Customer Service is a fitting recognition of Rob’s hands-on leadership. We wish him all the best for the upcoming awards night!
