Naresh and Radhna celebrate a decade of driving growth in the Taranaki region
In 2003, Naresh and Radhna made the life-changing move from the Fiji Islands to New Zealand. Settling in Auckland’s North Harbour, they built successful careers in the signwriting industry and established a new life for their family.
After a decade, they found themselves ready for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to build something of their own. When North Harbour Master Franchisee Neil Kumar introduced them to CrestClean’s franchise opportunities, it sparked the next chapter of their lives and in 2014, Naresh and Radhna officially became CrestClean franchise owners in North Harbour.
Over the next five years, the couple poured their energy into growing the business while continuously advancing their skills. Along the way, they stepped up as Induction Trainers, completed Hard Floor Care training, and participated in several other professional development programmes.
Their hard work also helped them achieve the major personal milestone of building a family home in Gulf Harbour, where they spent three wonderful years.
As their two children graduated from university and began careers of their own, Naresh and Radhna felt ready for another change.
“We wanted to exchange the fast-paced Auckland lifestyle for a community-focused region that offered a better work-life balance,” says Naresh.
In 2019, they embraced that change by relocating to Taranaki to take over the region’s Master Franchise.
Starting over in a new region wasn’t without its challenges. It took a great deal of resilience and teamwork, but through it all, the couple remained focused on the bigger picture.
“Every challenge became an opportunity to learn, improve, and grow stronger together,” says Naresh.
Today, they’re incredibly proud of how far the region has come. Since taking over the Taranaki Master Franchise, they have achieved an outstanding 273.3% growth.
“This success has only been possible through the dedication of our amazing franchise owners, the support of our customers, and the guidance of the CrestClean leadership team,” says Naresh.
A special moment came during the recent Regional Team Meeting in New Plymouth, where the couple were presented with their 10-year Long Service Award by CrestClean’s CEO Grant McLauchlan and General Manager Sam Lewis.
“It was an honour to celebrate this achievement alongside Grant, Sam, and our incredible Taranaki team,” says Naresh.
Naresh and Radhna are grateful for every opportunity CrestClean has brought them. Most of all, they’ve loved having the chance to help others succeed.
And they’re not slowing down anytime soon. They look forward to growing the Taranaki region even further and supporting their amazing network of franchise owners.
