Whangaparāoa College and CrestClean – a partnership that stands the test of time

When a school partnership lasts 17 years, it’s a sign that something is working well.
For Whangaparāoa College, CrestClean has been part of the school’s story since 2008, helping maintain a healthy and clean environment for its 1,800 students and staff.
The relationship began shortly after the college opened in 2005. After initially working with another cleaning provider, the school moved to CrestClean in 2008 — and the relationship has been strong ever since.
Whangaparāoa College Business Manager Ginny Caterall says things have run smoothly ever since CrestClean joined the school.
“CrestClean commenced a new cleaning contract with our college 17 years ago. During this time, we have been very satisfied with the service we have received.”
Recently, North Harbour Regional Managers Rachel and Neil Kumar recognised Whangaparāoa College as one of the local schools celebrating more than 10 years with CrestClean. And who better to present the long-service certificate, flowers and bubbles than North Harbour franchise owner Daniel Park, who has gone the extra mile for the school for more than a decade.
“Daniel is meticulous with his cleaning, but also proactive in reporting issues and supporting our health and safety goals,” says Ginny.
“He often goes above and beyond our contractual expectations and is always supportive when unexpected issues rise.”
Keeping a school the size of Whangaparāoa College clean takes a lot of work behind the scenes, but Daniel and the team work hard to make sure all classrooms and facilities are ready for students and staff each day. Ginny says Daniel has become a familiar and respected face at the college.
“It goes without saying that Daniel has become part of the wider college team, and our staff and learners have great respect for him.”
After 17 years, the relationship between Whangaparāoa College and CrestClean continues to be built on reliability and quality service. Here’s to many more years to come.
