Adrian Cashmore shares rugby expertise with Masterton Intermediate Sevens team
Wellington Regional Manager Adrian Cashmore recently had the opportunity to share his rugby knowledge with Masterton Intermediate’s Sevens team, helping the students prepare for an upcoming tournament.
After Masterton Intermediate became a CrestClean customer at the start of the year, Principal Russell Thompson invited Adrian to run a one-off training session with the team. Drawing on his experience playing for New Zealand Sevens, Adrian shared valuable skills with the next generation of players.
Around 30 students took part in the session, working through a range of drills focused on the fundamentals of Sevens rugby. Adrian kept the training fun and energetic, sharing drills and techniques he remembered from his own days playing Sevens.
The coaching tips clearly paid off, with the team going on to win the tournament!
