Silverdale School celebrates 22 years of partnership and a great team worth keeping
When you’ve worked with the same cleaning provider for more than two decades, you know you’ve found something that works.
That’s certainly the case at Silverdale Normal School, where CrestClean has been looking after the school’s cleaning needs for 22 years.
Principal Michael Harrop has been at the school for the past 10 years and says the relationship with CrestClean has remained strong throughout his time there. The school is regularly approached by other cleaning companies wanting to quote for the contract, but Michael sees no point in switching.
“We have a great team. Why would we look anywhere else?”
Hamilton franchise owners Soe Naing Maung and Zar Ni Theint are the familiar faces behind the school’s daily cleaning. They consistently do a great job, but it’s the relationship they have with the school that Michael and the Silverdale staff appreciate the most.
“We have a good connection and relationship with our cleaning team and see them as an extension of our staff,” he says.
Soe and Zar Ni also understand that no two days at a school are quite the same and sometimes there are jobs that need to be done at short notice. Michael says the team take it in their stride and “nothing ever seems too much to ask.”
“They are willing and able to flex with the constantly changing needs of a school environment – at times at very short notice.”
To mark the 22-year milestone, Quality Assurance Co-ordinator Ginny Lucas and Administration Assistant Karena Townsend dropped off morning tea to say thank you to the Silverdale staff.
After more than two decades, Michael says there’s no sign of the partnership slowing down.
“We look forward to a continuation of our 22-year working relationship with CrestClean.”
