Lucky number five helps Kritesh buy his first home

North Harbour franchise owners Kritesh Rao and Sangeeta Varma are now proud homeowners.

Buying a home was a goal Kritesh Rao set his sights on from the very day he became a CrestClean franchisee. Just three years later, he and his family are happily settling into their new place in Whangaparāoa, ideally located near his work sites and a great school for his daughter, Krisha.

Kritesh and his wife, Sangeeta, had fallen in love with the house two months earlier, but the asking price was just beyond their budget. To their delight, the vendors contacted them a month later to say they had reduced the price and were ready to accept Kritesh’s offer.

“We managed to buy the best home,” says Kritesh.

Number five seems to follow Kritesh everywhere. He and Sangeeta gained residency on 5 December, Krisha was born on 5 December, she’s about to turn five, and their new front door bears the number five.

“Everything is in fives, so we were really desperate to buy this house,” he laughs.

Kritesh is especially grateful to North Harbour Regional Manager Neil Kumar, who provided plenty of guidance throughout the process of buying his first home.

Neil is thrilled to have Kritesh as part of the North Harbour team.

“He’s energetic, hardworking and very focused on his business,” says Neil.

With homeownership now ticked off the list, Kritesh is turning his attention to growing his cleaning business. He’s well on his way to making them happen while continuing to build strong relationships with his customers.

“I’m really happy with my customers. They’re all really nice to me.

The business has been a family affair from the start. Four-year-old Krisha has been proud of her mum and dad’s work from day one. She’s such a fan of CrestClean that Sangeeta altered a CrestClean t-shirt to fit her perfectly.

“She still wears the uniform all the time,” says Krisha.

With a beautiful new home for his family and big plans for the future, Kritesh has plenty to look forward to.
