CrestClean’s Invercargill team proved to be super troopers by answering a rallying call to get the city’s Civic Theatre looking spic and span.

Recently bosses at Invercargill Venue and Events called CrestClean’s Regional Manager Glenn Cockroft to see if he could muster a team for a special one-off clean of the theatre for a forthcoming event.

Glenn put the call out to all of the Invercargill franchisees – and a team was quickly assembled to provide a top-to-bottom clean of the complex. A team of six personnel spent a considerable amount of time at the venue.

“The Invercargill team provide a special one-off service for a number of their clients such as builders’ cleans of new buildings, exit cleans for clients who are moving premises, and of course special one-offs for events,” said Glenn.

“We like to help out when we can for our clients and the Invercargill City Council is a very large client of ours.

“We clean the Administration Building and the City Library. We’re only too happy to help out when any of our clients have extra things that need doing at short notice.”

Venue manger Kate Feaver asked if the CrestClean team could complete a full clean of the theatre complex.

“Kate said she was very happy that the team was able to step in and help out when they needed them,” added Glenn.

The Civic Theatre Complex is in the heart of the inner city of Invercargill. The imposing structure is one of Invercargill’s landmark buildings and serves as the cultural heart of the Southland community.

The auditorium boasts grandiose decor in deep red with gold plasterwork. The auditorium can seat up to 1015 people and each seat has individual heating and air-conditioning vents located in the floor beneath.
