Training role rewards couple’s commitment
Auckland couple Nishneel Prasad and Ritika Sheelam have stepped up to join CrestClean’s training arm the Master Cleaners Training Institute.
The pair have just been appointed as Induction Trainers and will be the first point of contact for new franchisees in their region.
Induction Training is an important part of the CrestClean franchisee training process. New franchisees will work alongside Nishneel and Ritika for three weeks learning effective and efficient cleaning systems before they begin their formal training through the Master Cleaners Training Institute.
This period also gives Induction Trainers a chance to assess whether the new franchisees are competent enough and have the right attitude to be part of the CrestClean family.
Adam Hodge, CEO of the Master Cleaners Training Institute, says Nishneel and Ritika are ideally suited to the role.
Nishneel and Ritika were chosen by Caroline Wedding, CrestClean’s Auckland West Regional Manager. She was impressed by their “commitment and professionalism demonstrated by them in delivering a quality service to their customers”.
The role is an important one for the company, says Adam. “The Induction Trainers are a vital cog in the training machine.
“They are the first training contact for our new franchisees. While Crest sets the quality standard, it’s the Induction Trainers who underline the training and pass on the skills to our new people.
“The training is delivered on site. A broad range of subjects are covered in the Induction Training. All practical commercial cleaning tasks are covered.
“We also focus on health and safety, safe use and care of equipment, and chemical preparation.”
Before people purchase a cleaning franchise the three weeks’ Induction Training provides some hands-on experience to see if it’s actually what they want to do.
“On the recommendation of the Induction Trainers they will become franchisees if all goes well,” says Adam.
