Daniel takes a step up the property ladder thanks to CrestClean
With a new 5-bedroom home on Auckland’s picturesque Whangaparaoa Peninsula, and his weekends free to spend with his family, CrestClean franchisee Daniel Park couldn’t be happier.
“I really enjoy fishing as a hobby, so I bought a small boat for my son and I. We sometimes go fishing on the boat together,” he says.
Daniel, who celebrated his 10-year anniversary with CrestClean last year, moved to New Zealand from South Korea with his wife Jung Oh in 2007.
“Her family was living here – she liked it here and the element of her family living here made us want to immigrate.”
They initially settled in Kerikeri where they owned a Japanese restaurant, but later moved to Auckland to start a cleaning business.
“Before joining CrestClean, I had another cleaning business. I searched for other cleaning companies and found CrestClean. I had also seen quite a few of their vehicles around!” says Daniel.
“I researched the company more and decided to join as I really liked their management and growth potential.”
Seven years ago, Daniel and Jung Oh were able to buy their first home, before upgrading to their current home which is both larger and closer to their customer sites.
“CrestClean has given me a stable income. This means little to no stress for myself when I work. Owning a CrestClean franchise, the thing I like most is the sense of being in a team. Everyone steps in to help one another, which I really like,” says Daniel.
“I still have many of my original customers, and I have great relationships with them. And

Daniel, Jung Oh and their two children, Stella, 15, and Shaun, 13, are enjoying their new home, which has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 living rooms and an office, and look forward to continued business success.
“Everything about our new home is much more comfortable than our house before. My plan for the future is to continue to be happy with my work and to earn a stable income.”
