Introducing Invercargill’s newest carpet cleaning specialists… Carlotta and Harold Magannig!

The CrestClean franchisees recently invested in premium carpet cleaning equipment and completed their training with the Master Cleaners Training Institute (MCTI) to meet a growing demand in the region.

“We have had a big increase in requests for carpet cleaning in Invercargill,” says CrestClean’s Invercargill Regional Manager Glenn Cockroft.

“Harold and Carlotta have stepped up to help meet that demand. We are now all set with two specialist carpet teams who can provide the service to our new and existing customers.”

The extensive hands-on training was delivered by MCTI Carpet Cleaning Trainer Mohammed Ashad, who is one of two trainers responsible for training CrestClean franchisees throughout New Zealand on how to clean carpets using the latest portable hot water extraction carpet cleaning machines.

It starts with understanding the carpet’s fibre, type, and finish. Tailored treatments are then applied to tackle stains based on their nature, be it acidic or alkaline.

Regular carpet cleaning not only promotes hygiene but also extends carpet life. Carpets act as filters, accumulating microscopic particles that wear down fibres. Unlike dry methods, CrestClean’s hot water extraction process dislodges debris, leaving carpets warm and quick drying.

Glenn congratulated Harold and Carlotta on successfully completing the training, which coincided with their 8th anniversary as franchise owners.

“With their newly acquired skills, Carlotta and Harold are set to not only enhance our carpet cleaning services in Invercargill but also to take their business to new heights.”
