CrestClean franchise owners sharpen workplace communication skills in successful training programme
CrestClean franchise owners recently completed a valuable 14-week Workplace Communications training programme. The programme was delivered online for three hours each week and offered franchise owners the flexibility to choose the day that suited them best.
Aileen Fernando Caballero and Ranjodh Singh Bains were two of 23 franchisees that attended the training course.
Aileen owns a franchise in Tauranga and employs five staff. She found the programme particularly insightful for improving her communication and leadership styles.
“I didn’t know my leadership style until we went through it in one of the sessions,” says Aileen.
“I learned how to manage my team in a good way.”
Aileen has already begun implementing changes, focusing on improving communication skills and self-confidence to achieve a specific SMART goal within two months.
“It was valuable and there’s a lot that I can apply to my business.”
“I’m more aware now of what I need to improve and I’m very thankful for that.”
Aileen encourages more franchise owners to take the course if they’re looking to improve their business and maintain a great relationship with their customers.
“I would like all the franchisees to join the programme because it’s going to help you a lot in your business and the way you communicate with your customers,” she says.
Ranjodh is a CrestClean franchise owner from Auckland who attended the training programme every Wednesday. He found the online environment particularly convenient as it allowed him to choose the day that fit with his cleaning schedule.
“Online gives you more flexibility to work around your hours and you don’t need to travel anywhere,” he says.
“The Wednesday sessions sat comfortably with my schedule.”
For Ranjodh, the most valuable aspect of the training programme was the focus on continuous business improvement. This encompassed communication, leadership and staff management.
“It was easy to apply my learnings to improving my business,” he says.
“They taught us how to manage a team, how to be a leader and how to be an active listener. One important thing that I personally picked up was that I have to work on my body language.”
Impressed by the course’s professionalism, Ranjodh is looking forward to attending similar training sessions in the future.
“It was very professional. The tutor was very knowledgeable and organised,” says Ranjodh.
“I’d like to thank CrestClean for the opportunity. It was really helpful and I’m looking forward to doing another one if anything else comes up.”
Th Workplace Communications training programme was highly successful and franchise owners have emerged with invaluable skills that they can easily apply to their business.
Congratulations to all graduates.
