Canterbury couple’s franchise flourishes in three years

South Canterbury Regional Master Franchisee Rob Glenie presents Karen Taojo with her three-year Long Service Award.

South Canterbury franchise owners, Karen and Dan Taojo, recently celebrated their three-year milestone as CrestClean franchise owners. Although becoming business owners was new territory for Karen and Dan, support from family and friends helped them successfully navigate challenges and build a thriving franchise.

South Canterbury Regional Master Franchisee, Rob Glenie, considers Karen and Dan to be very well-respected members of the Canterbury CrestClean family.

“I’m very proud of their achievements over the past three years,” he says.

“They are very diligent workers and always go the extra mile for their customers.”

Before CrestClean, Karen was working full-time night shifts at a meat processing plant. Inspired by a close friend’s success with a CrestClean franchise, Karen and Dan saw an opportunity to change career paths.

“I wanted to spend more time with my family, especially my kids, so we decided to give a CrestClean franchise a try,” says Karen.

The couple now have the flexibility to determine their own work schedule that fits in with what’s most important to them – family. Karen says she loves having the freedom to spend more time with her children. The significant increase in income has also enabled the couple to achieve financial goals they didn’t think were possible prior to owning a CrestClean franchise.

“We’re now able to provide for the needs of our family,” says Karen.

Now that they’re three years into their business venture and their children are growing up, Karen and Dan have more time to focus on upskilling and expanding their business.

“Our future goal is to expand our business and provide more convenient and accessible services for our customers,” says Karen.

Congratulations on three successful years, Karen and Dan!
