Hard work, training and planning – Ranjodh’s formula for success

Ranjodh Singh Bains celebrates two years as a CrestClean franchise owner with Auckland Central Regional Master Franchisee Dries Mangnus.

Ranjodh Singh Bains has wasted no time building a successful business these last two years. Through hard work, continuous upskilling and smart planning, he’s consistently hitting targets and poised for future success.

Now managing 20 sites, Ranjodh has also expanded his services to include floor care and carpet cleaning.

“It’s been a successful two years in business,” he says.

Ranjodh enjoys the flexibility to structure his workweek in a way that suits him. With the help of his partner, Alish, he maintains a healthy work-life balance and makes sure he keeps his weekends free.

Despite his hard work, Ranjodh stays relaxed and positive, embracing the freedom of being his own boss.

“It’s quite chill,” he says. “I get everything done during the week to make sure I have my weekends off. I’m happy.”

Key to his recent success was completing the Aspire2 Workplace Communications course, which boosted his confidence when communicating with customers. He credits the course in giving him the tools to approach potential customers and grow his business further.

“It has helped me to generate business because I can approach customers myself,” he says.

Support from Auckland Central Regional Master Franchisee, Dries Mangnus, has been pivotal to Ranjodh’s business journey. Over the past two years, they have built a strong friendship, and Ranjodh is grateful to Dries for helping him grow his business.

“Dries is amazing” he says. “He looks after me very well.”

With his sights set on a half-million turnover in the next five years, Ranjodh says he’s on track towards achieving bold goals.

“Being with CrestClean has been great. I’ve achieved a lot in my personal and professional life, and I’m looking forward to another 10 years.”
