Auckland Central franchise owner Sri Gunasingam and his hardworking cleaning team are the unsung heroes keeping the Duncan Cotterill offices spotless. Their dedication to maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment has made them an integral part of the wider Duncan Cotterill team in Auckland, ensuring that both the firm’s staff and clients enjoy a consistently clean workspace.
Receptionist Maryanne Hannen, who works closely with Sri’s team, speaks highly of their professionalism and commitment to excellence.
“I can’t speak highly enough of our cleaning team,” she says.

Having owned a CrestClean franchise for more than 15 years, Sri has built the largest franchise in the organisation, leading a team of 16 well trained employees. Together, Sri’s team brings expertise in a wide range of commercial cleaning services, including carpet cleaning, Pure Water Window washing, steam cleaning, and hard floor care.
Duncan Cotterill’s Auckland office has relied on Sri and his team since 2016and their attention to detail have set a high benchmark for workplace cleanliness.
Beyond maintaining exceptional cleaning standards, Sri is also proactive in supporting sustainability efforts. The building owners have implemented a waste stream programme, and Sri and his team have played an active role in upholding these initiatives. Sri also provides helpful tips to the Duncan Cotterill team whenever he notices opportunities to improve sustainability practices.
A key factor in Sri’s ongoing success is his team’s strong communication skills. Maryanne says Sri’s open communication ensures his team consistently meets the firm’s needs.
“Communication between our two teams is regular, positive, and professional,” says Maryanne.
“Sri’s responses are prompt and on point and I don’t remember a time when requests or instructions weren’t followed.”
