CrestClean franchisees honoured at 30th anniversary of Westpac NZ Franchise Awards 2025

As part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards, long-serving franchisees from across the country were recognised for their exceptional commitment and longevity within their franchise systems.
Among those honoured at the gala dinner were five of CrestClean’s longest-serving franchise teams whose loyalty, and hard work have been instrumental to the company’s success.
CrestClean is proud to have one of the highest numbers of long-tenure franchisees in New Zealand, with many having been part of the business for more than a decade. Their continued success is a testament to the strong relationships, training, and support systems that underpin the CrestClean network.
These franchisees have played a huge role in shaping CrestClean’s continued growth and success, and it’s wonderful to see their incredible contributions recognised and celebrated.

Kamal Jeet Singh – 23 years
Arriving in New Zealand with just $50 in his pocket, Kamal Jeet Singh’s journey is a remarkable story of perseverance, guided by his belief that communication is the cornerstone of excellent customer service. Over 23 years, Kamal has built Auckland’s longest-standing CrestClean franchise. His success has enabled him to travel the world, purchase a home, and inspire others to follow in his footsteps by investing in a franchise and creating their own success stories.
Resham & Gurjit Singh – 23 years
Resham grew up on a pineapple farm in Fiji, where his father still lives. After moving to New Zealand in 2002 with very little, Resham and Gurjit started a small CrestClean franchise that has since flourished into a large and successful business. Known for his consistently high standards, long-standing customer relationships, and always impeccably organised vehicle, Resham has become a key member of the Auckland Central team. Today, Resham and Gurjit own two properties and run a thriving cleaning business, showing what can be achieved with determination and great support.
Martin Kim & Natasha Kwon – 22 years
Martin and Natasha emigrated from Korea and were among the first to invest in a CrestClean franchise in Auckland. From day one, they made it their mission to build strong, personal relationships with their clients, many of whom have remained loyal for more than two decades. Over the past 22 years, their business has grown steadily, not just in size but in reputation. Martin believes that consistency and thoughtfulness are the keys to their success, and it’s clear their customers agree.
Rajju & Manorama Prasad – 19 years
Originally from Fiji, Rajju and Manorama moved to New Zealand in 2004 following a civilian coup. With backgrounds in accounting and retail, they initially worked in traditional jobs before exploring business ownership. While working as a credit control officer, Rajju was seeking a career that would be less stressful and found exactly that with a CrestClean franchise. With a positive mindset, and a willingness to succeed, Rajju and Manorama have built a large South Auckland business that continues to thrive after 19 years.
Sonia & Nikita Naicker – 19 years
Sonia and Nikita are a mother-daughter team who joined CrestClean part-time for extra income and to create the opportunity for Sonia’s other children to have a part time job after school that will help pay for their future education. 19 years on and Sonia and Nikita have shared many proud moments, particularly being recognised by customers for their outstanding cleaning and having the ability to achieve their dreams.
“Being recognised at the Franchise Awards made us feel blessed knowing we have achieved so much being part of CrestClean,” says Sonia.
“We are proud to be with Crest Clean and looking forward for many more years ahead.”
