Eight years of excellence – the Patels raise the bar in customer service

Rajeshri and Chetankumar Patel have been recognised with a Certificate of Excellence after achieving a perfect 100% in a recent customer satisfaction survey.
Humbly accepting their award, the couple said that going the extra mile and delivering great service is simply business as usual. Rajeshri says it comes down to their small, tight-knit team of three, where everyone works closely together to consistently deliver the best possible outcomes on every site.
“We do our best whenever we go onto a customer’s site,” says Rajeshri.
“Whatever they ask for, we do.”
Over the past eight years as franchise owners, building strong relationships with customers has become a big part of their success. Working across schools, offices and healthcare sites, Rajeshri and Chetankumar often take time to stop for a friendly chat and catch up on news about their customers’ families. Two of their customers have been with them since day one.
“They treat us like family,” says Rajeshri.
The couple’s business has grown significantly since they first started after a friend recommended the opportunity to Rajeshri. Today, they own a spacious six-bedroom home and enjoy strong cashflow – a big change from the two-bedroom home they lived in before owning a franchise. They’ve also been able to support family along the way, including helping Rajeshri’s brother migrate from India, who now lives and works with them.
Rajeshri says the support they’ve received from CrestClean has played a big role in their success, especially the guidance from Quality Assurance Co-ordinators.
“I really appreciate the quality checks. It’s good for us because sometimes we don’t see things. Quality checks help us see the small details we’ve missed.”
She also acknowledges Regional Manager Caro Wedding for her around-the-clock support.
“Caro is so supportive. She’ll reply at midnight – she’s there for us 24-7.”
While they’re still open to growth opportunities, the couple are happy with their current customer base, as it allows them to give each customer the attention they deserve.
“It’s a good balance. Everything is going very smoothly right now,” says Rajeshri.
After eight years in the business, Rajeshri also has simple advice for those starting out.
“Don’t leave anything for tomorrow. If you see something that needs doing, do it straight away.”
Rajeshri says she is proud of how far they’ve come and is already looking ahead to the next milestone.
“I’m looking forward to the 10-year award next!”
