Understanding customer’s needs and being pro-active about solving their problems are priorities for Robert Glenie.
“Promise only what you can deliver and deliver what you promise,” he says. “This is the core of my business philosophy.”
The South Canterbury Regional Manager is looking after Timaru, Ashburton and surrounding districts.
Born and bred in Ashburton, Robert has been married to Marcia for 15 years and has two children Tayla (13) and Ben (10).
“My family are very important to me. I love being a family man and Saturday’s are all about kids sport,” he says.
Before the opportunity arose to join Crest, Robert managed cleaning contracts in Australia and prior to that had his own business in Ashburton that provided workplace bathroom services and pest control. After returning from Australia four-years-ago, Robert worked as a construction supervisor.
“We enjoyed living in Australia. But once a kiwi, always a kiwi, so we returned to offer our kids the great New Zealand up bringing.”
Robert is enthusiastic about future prospects within the South Canterbury region.
“I am looking forward to meeting new customers, helping them solve any issues and bringing the CrestClean difference to this great region,” he says. “I am looking forward to the challenges within the commercial cleaning industry and the excitement of not knowing what each day holds.”
