Paul Theobald recently completed a day course in Electrical Testing and Inspection.

Ensuring electrical equipment is safe and secure for franchisees to use forms a key part of Paul Theobald’s role.

After completing a day course in Electrical Testing and Inspection, Paul is responsible for ensuring Pac Vacs and RCD (Residual Current Devices) are safe, secure and compliant before they are dispatched to franchisees. He will also take care of ongoing testing as required.

“It was an interesting course. I learned a lot. The course really showed how important it is that electrical equipment is tested and tagged,” he says. “It gives franchisees peace of mind that equipment complies with electrical and Occupational Health and Safety regulations. It is great that this service can now be done in house.”

Paul has been with Crest for 16 months and is based at Crest’s Tauranga office.

As part of his extensive role, Paul also prepares and dispatches chemical and uniform orders for franchisees.

“I also assist with stock ordering. I really enjoy my job and the people I work with,” he says. “It’s a positive environment and it is always busy which is great.”
