Gurpreet Singh, Amarinder Kaur, Phong Ang Chan Thean Lim and Huykim Cheng have been commended for their fantastic term clean effort at Westbrook School.

Four Rotorua franchisees will be recognised for going “the extra mile” with a Certificate of Excellence.

Gurpreet Singh, Amarinder Kaur, Huykim Cheng and Phong Ang Chan Thean Lim completed a term clean at Westbrook School over the holidays.

The term clean included high and low dusting; the walls and windows were cleaned, the floors were stripped and polished and the carpets were cleaned.

It was a big job but it was one that both teams, who clean half the school each, took pride in.

Westbrook School Principal Colin Watkins says the teams have done “a brilliant job”.

“I can’t remember when our school last looked this good,” he says. “They did a wonderful job of cleaning our classrooms and admin, especially the polishing and carpet cleaning. The hall also looks fantastic. We really appreciate their quality of work.”

Regional Manager Bill Douglas says he was blown away with the end result of the term clean.

“I am so proud of them,” he says. “They had a deadline and they made sure the school was ready in time for the staff to prepare and set up their classrooms for the year. I am so happy. They always help each other out and they get along really well. The Certificates of Excellence they will receive later this month are well deserved.”
