There was no shortage of enthusiasm when Raj Anand asked for volunteers during the Module 1 training for CrestClean franchisees in South Auckland.

Bhartika Singh was keen to put into practice the techniques she had picked up on the training session run by the Master Cleaners Training Institute, which provides specialised courses for CrestClean franchisees.

“I said who is first, and she said ‘I will give it a go’,” said Raj, who was the trainer on the course, held at Bruce Pulman Park, Takanini.

“Bhartika has a great attitude to her work and has a very nice personality and performed the tasks required very well.”

It was hardly surprising Bhartika was an outstanding franchisee and shone on the course. “In Fiji she was a teacher and she’s very patient and a quick learner,” added Raj.

The course, run over two days, was popular and 16 franchisees attended.

“It’s an important training course and people really get a lot from the training,” added Raj.

For Raj feedback from the franchisees gives him the satisfaction of a job well done.

“I feel great that I have trained them to a high level,” he said.

“They will be carrying on the high standard of cleaning that the CrestClean name is known for.”

Master Cleaners CEO Adam Hodge said Raj was an excellent trainer.

“Raj has been an Induction Trainer since May 2014. He became a Regional Trainer December 2015 and a Hard Floor Care trainer in 2016.

“At each stage he has proved to be a valuable member of the Master Cleaners Training Institute training team, passing on his knowledge and expertise to the trainees in a manner that is relaxed and informative.”
